Mohammad Asghar, Assembly Member for South Wales East, has pledged to ‘make every daffodil count’ during February and March and help Marie Curie Nurses provide care and support to people living with a terminal illness.
Responding to the announcement the Welsh Labour-Liberal Government has scrapped its £15m fund to help young people get to jobs and training after only 18 months, Welsh Conservative Shadow Secretary for Skills, Mohammad Asghar AM, has said:
Wales has an ageing population. This brings a number of benefits. Older people are often at the heart of their communities. Whether it is by volunteering for charity and community work, or by providing child care for their families, older people make an immense contribution.
