Mohammad Asghar AM yesterday (31 October) attended a “Vigil for Peace” to remember the victims of the recent Synagogue attack in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The vigil took place at Cardiff United Synagogue and was jointly organised by the South Wales Jewish Representative Council and the Muslim Council of Wales.
After the attack, Mr Asghar issued the following statement:
“My heartfelt condolences go out to all the victims and families who have lost their lives in the terrible attack in Pittsburgh over the weekend.”
“No one should be persecuted because of race, religion or creed.”
“In times like these we should unite together to rid the world of hatred and discrimination.”
