Asghar in Monmouth to see results of flooding

The Regional AM for South Wales East Mohammad Asghar AM met with Cath Griffiths who works at Ty Price, St Thomas Community Centre in Monmouth to find out how people have been coping after the recent floods.

 

Asghar pledges to “Get behind the Daffodil” for Marie Curie this February

Local Assembly Member, Mohammad Asghar AM, has pledged to encourage constituents to donate and wear their iconic Marie Curie daffodil throughout February and March to help the charity’s Nurses provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

Asghar calls for Repeal of Vagrancy Act

Mohammad Asghar. Assembly Member for South East Wales, has called on the Welsh Government to support moves to repeal the Vagrancy Act.

 

This Act is still used to this day, with anyone who is seen begging living on the streets liable for arrest.
